New to Hijab

Guidance for Muslim colleagues who want to start wearing the Hijab, and for educational purposes.

We celebrated World Hijab Day on 1 February 2023, and we received a number of queries from Muslim colleagues within the NHS who wanted to start wearing the Hijab but didn’t know where to begin.

We also received queries from allies who wanted to know more about the Hijab, and how they can support Muslim colleagues who wear the Hijab.

Therefore, the NHS Muslim Network is very excited to launch their “New to Hijab” Guidance for Muslim colleagues who want to start wearing the Hijab, and for educational purposes.
