Eating Disorders Awareness Week (EDAW) is an annual campaign to educate the public about the realities of eating disorders and to provide hope, support, and visibility to individuals and families affected by eating disorders. This year, Eating Disorders Awareness Week is taking place from 27 February – 5 March 2023.

We know the stigma that is attached to eating disorders, and even more so within our communities. It’s time we come together and break the stigma, and educate ourselves and each other on eating disorders, and for those of us that may be suffering, to get the help they need.

We will be hearing about the different types of eating disorders, early warning signs, psychological factors that can underpin an eating disorder, some treatment/support/help available, plus a lot more!

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join this important topic.
