The National NHS Muslim Network are excited to welcome all our Muslim colleagues, allies and friends to our Celebrating South Asian Heritage Month Event!    

Date: Wednesday, 9 August 2023 

Time: 5-6pm 

South Asian Heritage Month 2023 is all about celebrating the stories that make up our diverse and vibrant community. The theme this year is ‘Stories to Tell’.

The event will be hosted by the Co-Chairs of the network and will feature the following incredible guest speakers: 

  • Dr Navina Evans, Chief Workforce, Training and Education Officer, NHS England.
  • Dr Zaheer Ahmad MBE, NHS Non-Executive Director, and founder of Equality X.
  • Shahana Ramsden, Strategic Adviser, Workforce and Community Transformation (Anchor Organisation), Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Consultant.
  • Bashir Arif, Programme Director, NW London ICS/West London NHS Trust.
  • Dr Aaliya Goyal, General Practitioner, Nationally Elected RCGP Council Member and Vice Chair RCGP Midland Faculty.
