With Ramadan approaching, the NHS Muslim Network warmly invites you to a Ramadan awareness event to help colleagues understand its significance and how to best support Muslim staff during this sacred month.

Leading the session is our faith leader, Maysoon Shafiq and Dr Idrees Mohammed (PhD).

This session is open to all NHS staff, but we especially encourage allies, non-Muslim colleagues and those managing Muslim staff to join us in learning about:

✅ What Ramadan is and why it matters

✅ How fasting affects daily life and work

✅ Practical ways to support fasting colleagues

We want to reach as many people as possible. Please share this invitation with your teams, networks, and colleagues so we can create greater awareness, inclusivity and support across the NHS during Ramadan.
