In line with the National NHS Muslim Network’s commitment to inclusivity and cultural sensitivity within the NHS, the Co-Chairs are pleased to introduce a new guidance designed to support our Muslim colleagues, particularly those who are new to Islam.

The New Muslim Guidance is rooted in the NHS People Promise, which calls for a compassionate and inclusive culture, this guidance offers practical advice on the unique challenges faced by new Muslims and aims to help all staff in the NHS broaden their understanding of Islam and its practices.

By fostering an environment of respect, where differences are celebrated and questions are welcomed, we strengthen our teams, enrich our workplace, and reaffirm our dedication to fairness and equity.
